This article discusses the acoustic characteristics of voice signals of hearing-impaired persons using cochlear implants. The aim of the study is to identify the acoustic parameters, the values of which differ from the parameters of voice and speech of people with normal hearing. Standard parameters for voice quality assessment, such as Jitter and Shimmer, were chosen as considered characteris-tics, noise component was estimated by calculating the ratio of harmonic signal to noise (HNR). The voice signal's spectrum of persons with cochlear implants was also considered in comparison with the voice signal's spectrum of persons without hearing impairment. Calculations were made of the voice harmonization coefficient (VHC6. 7. 8/1.2) determining the presence of dysphonia. |
