Popis: | Increasing technological developments result in an increasing need for technological benefits in all aspects of human life. Technology is felt to be very helpful to humans in carrying out a series of daily activities, including the activities of farmers and chili plant business owners. The activity of watering chili plants which must be routinely done every day allows chili plants to grow fertile and healthy. However, sometimes the routine work is neglected due to time constraints or other activities. In order for these problems to be minimized, it is necessary to build a system that can be used to assist automatic watering activities. This research discusses the use of Internet of Things technology to create an automatic plant watering control device using Android and Arduino UNO. This tool is useful for helping the work of farmers and owners of chili plants to carry out watering activities automatically. The workings of this tool are based on the soil moisture value. By using a soil moisture detection sensor, this tool will send a command signal to the Arduino so that the relay driver is turned on so that the pump can water the water according to the soil's needs. From the tests carried out, it can be concluded that the tool made is capable of carrying out the function of watering plants automatically as expected. The water pump will automatically turn on when the soil moisture is above 300 RH and vice versa it will not turn on if the soil moisture is less than 300 RH |
