Popis: Titanocene and zirconocene-compounds in combination with methylaluminoxane as cocatalyst form extremely active soluble Ziegler-Natta-Catalysts. One mol chiral stereorigid ethylenebis(indenyl)zirconiumdichloride yields 43.000 kg per hour highly isotactic polypropylene. 13C-nmr spectroscopically determined isotacticity lies above 99%. Working with non chiral zirconocenes as bis(cyclopentadienyl)zirconium compounds leads solely atactic polypropylene. Isotacticity is dependent on polymerization temperature.
