Solubility of aluminum lithium hydride in the systems LiAlH4-ether-benzene and LiAlH4-ether-toluene at 25�

Popis: 1. Employing the isothermal method at 25°, the crystallization regions of LiAlH4 and LiAlH4·(C2H5)2O in the systems LiAlH4-ether-benzene and LiAlH4-ether-toluene were established. 2. The composition of the saturated solution, corresponding to the crystallization of these phases, was respectively: 7.8% LiAlH4, 36.9% (C2H5)2O, 55.3% C6H6 and 9.1% LiAlH4, 33.8% (C2H5)2O, 57.1% C7H8. 3. The solubility of LiAlH4 in ether at 25° is 27.8%, in benzene it is less than 0.02%, and in toluene it is approximately 0.02%.
