Popis: The PTHS-method is a direct development of the Transient Hot Strip technique and specifically designed for thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity measurements of non-conducting surface layers produced by PVD or similar techniques. In measurements performed so far an evaporated “micro-strip” of a Nobel metal has been used both as heat source and as temperature sensor.
