Popis: | The Fault Tree Analysis is a method which can be used in a preventive or in a corrective manner because it can describe failure mechanisms and also can emphasize the effects of corrective actions performed to remove the causes. The effectiveness of the Fault Tree Analysis depends on the information accuracy about the function that models how the failure occurrences are distributed over time. The objective of this paper is to study how different failure distribution functions of a component are influencing the overall reliability of a system. |
