Popis: | The purpose of this paper is to show that for most of the compartment models used in pharmacokinetics, when initial conditions are zero except in one compartment, the time course of the corresponding state variable is monotonic decreasing. This statement is in contradiction with two related papers of Vaidhyanathan [1, 2], but is shown to be a consequence of theorems derived by Hearon [3]. |
