Optical fluoroaluminate glass containing 0.3-5 mol% Ba(PO3)2 have been investigated by IR and EPR spectroscopy. It is found that the PO 4 2 and PO 3 2- centers play the main role in the radiation processes over the entire Ba(PO 3 ) 2 concentration range under consideration. The assumption is made that the structure of fluoroaluminate glasses with small additives of Ba(PO 3 ) 2 is built up of a set of fragments that involve the [AlF 6 ] octahedra and are linked by the P-O-P bonds. |
