Asymmetries and differential cross sections for the 12C(p, d)11C and 16O(p, d)15O reactions induced by polarized protons

Popis: | The reactions 12 C(p, d) 11 C and 16 O(p, d) 15 O have been studied using a 30.3 MeV polarized proton beam. Differential cross sections and asymmetries have been measured for the deuteron groups corresponding to the ground state, 2.0 MeV, 4.32 MeV and 4.81 MeV levels in 11 C and the ground state and 6.16 MeV level in 15 O. These data are compared with distorted wave Born approximation calculations. Agreement with the measured asymmetries is poor. |
