COMPARISON BETWEEN THE CALCULATION METHOD FOR ESTIMATING HEAT FLUXES OF RADIATION AND CONVECTION OF CEILING RADIANT PANELS AND EXPERIMENT DATA

Popis: In this paper, we have developed a calculation method for estimating heat fluxes of radiation and convection of ceiling radiant panels, using piping density in panels and the temperature difference between the room and the supply water. And we have measured heat fluxes of panels in some cases in an environmental test room. By comparing the values estimated by the calculation method to the experiment data, the calculated values closely match the values obtained from experiments, which means that this calculation method is practical in estimating the radiant panel performance in the design phase.
