Popis:	Toxoplasma gondii is a zoonotic infection, i.e. an infection transmitted from animals to man, and it is therefore in theory possible to prevent infection by prevention of transmission. The reservoirs are known (see chapters 1.2. and 4.3.), but the relative contribution to human infections from cats and meat are not known in detail. Based on the knowledge of the transmission routes and the reservoirs, simple advice on preventive measures (see chapter 4.4.) can be given.
