Popis: | Non linear optical materials have been used for different technological application and Potassium Hydrogen Phthalate is one of the materials with better non linear optical properties. Hence in the present study we have grown KHP crystals doped with thiourea using slow evaporation technique. The phase analysis was done by Powder XRD and the incorporation of thiourea in the grown crystals was analyzed using FTIR. The thermal property of doped crystal is improved very much and the SHG efficiency of thiourea doped KHP crystal is better than that of the pure. The UV absorption spectrum of grown crystal shows that the thiourea doped crystals would be a better NLO material for SHG applications. |
