Popis: | Triazole linked C-glycosyl pyrene fluorescent sensors 3 and 4 have been designed, synthesized and characterized for the purpose of detecting Au3+ ions. In citrate phosphate buffer, sensors 3 and 4 exhibited high selectivity and sensitivity in two different detection techniques (absorbance and fluorescence) in detecting Au3+ over wide variation of cations. The complexes 3-Au3+ and 4-Au3+ have been analyzed by UV–vis spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. Under optimum conditions, the limit of detection (LOD) of sensors 3 and 4 for Au3+ ion was calculated as 0.08 μM and 0.14 μM, respectively. In addition, biological imaging studies showed that the synthesized sensors can detect Au3+ ion in living cells. |
