The report presents an analysis of the history, current state and trends in the development of space tourism. Scientific and technical progress in the 20th century made it possible to fulfill the eternal dream of going into outer space. This allowed the concept of space tourism to be defined very quickly, such as flights into space at the expense of private funds for recreational, business or other (scientific research, amateur, etc.) purposes. In a broader sense, it is a market product that is a direct result of the functioning of the space industry as a whole and the human desire for travel. An analysis has been made of the state and opportunities for the development of space tourism in several leading and potential markets: the USA, India, Korea, Russia and Malaysia. Orbital and suborbital flights are shown as an opportunity for tourism destinations, including visiting theme parks and astronaut training facilities, field trips to spaceports, observing rocket launches, educational programs, and research and hobby projects in the field of aeronautics |
