Popis: | Results of modeling of ultrasonic cutting of metals using the finite element method are presented. The constructed finite element model takes into account both elastoplastic properties of the treated material and thermodynamic characteristics of the product, tool, and environment, which allow one to describe thermomechanical processes taking place in the cutting region. The obtained results are compared with the results of analytical and model solutions and experimental data. |
