Popis: Parents are potential allies of schools when it comes to school reform. They can also be nonsupporters, even enemies of reform initiatives. No educational reform can succeed without parental support, but little is known in depth about how parental input is effectively processed and handled in the context of a reform effort (Crowson, 1992; Dietz, 1988; Goldring & Rallis, 1993; McEwan, 1998).
