Popis: The availability of three-phase supply in the generating stations and grid, make the three-phase induction machine the most spread drive system in various industrial applications. Nowdays, the multiphase power transmission Multi-phase grids are increasingly becoming the norm. Thanks to this, the integration of multi-phase machines becomes a self-evident fact. The multiphase supply is required for many applications. Different methods can be used, the use of special transformers is one of them. To make multi-phase machines more usable for industrial applications drive systems, it is strongly recommended to adapt an optimisation of their power supply. The aim of this work is to supply multiphase machines from the power grid. Thus, with the proposed solution, a pure six-phase sine wave of fixed voltage/current and frequency is obtained, which can be used as an industrial power grid and machines testing purposes. Complete design and experiment of the proposed solution are presented. The power supply with variable frequency is tested and results are presented.
