Popis:	Trypanosoma evansi infection was diagnosed in 15 out of 17 adult dromedaries of a breeding herd in the Emirate of Dubai. The herd had a history of abortions in the previous years. Own observations on 16 adult females and one bull lasted 12 months and revealed trypanosomosis in 15 animals in monthly haematological and serological examinations. Despite three to four injections of the trypanocides melarsamine and/or quinapyramine, only one camel was cured. One camel aborted in the 8th month of pregnancy. Four other dams delivered healthy calves.
