Effect of candidates’ gender and their dominance behavior on their evaluation in the recruiting process

Popis: There is mixed evidence for the backlash-effect concerning women who violate gender stereotypes in the business context. Research has been criticized in terms of restricted sample characteristics (mainly students, no “business professionals”). In this study, the effect will be tested with a sample of people who are experienced in recruiting to get a more realistic estimation of possible backlash-effects in real life. Such a study will contribute to the question of whether fear of backlash of female candidates is justified in the recruiting process or not.
