Popis:	Short-term benefits of laparoscopic colectomy for colonic cancer have been proved in different clinical trials [1–3]; patients will benefit from less postoperative pain, reduced pain-related and wound-related complications, as well as faster return of bowel function. However, abdominal incisions for retrieval of specimen are associated with increased postoperative pain and sometimes wound-related complications, compromising the benefits of minimally invasive surgery.
