The Modern Mathematics Master's Degree: A Survey of U.S. Programs

Popis:	Unlike other postsecondary degrees in the mathematical sciences, the state of master’s level education has not received much attention. To help examine the practices, format, and requirements of M.S. and M.A. programs in the mathematical sciences in the United States, the authors conducted a nationwide survey in 2013. This article presents the findings of this survey from the institutions whose highest degree offered is a master’s level degree.
