Popis:	Hardness affects the quality of water, making it unsuitable for human consumption and undesirable for the use in industrial processes. This paper compares the titrimetric method with the spectrometric method for the determination of hardness in aqueous matrices, evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of each application.
