Popis: | This paper studies the thermal and electrical characteristics of nanoparticles in insulating oils. A natural ester based oil and three other samples of nanofluids with 0.006%, 0.008% and 0.012% of magnetite nanoparticles were examined and compared concerning their thermal and electric conductivity. The results showed that the magnetite nanofluids have higher values of thermal conductivity coefficient than that of pure natural ester oil. The higher concentration of nanoparticles is, the higher the coefficient of thermal conductivity. Also, the nanofluids exhibit better dielectric behavior. |
