Popis:	This chapter exploits the information from three surveys of economics and happiness carried out in Argentina during 2012. The overall results of these investigations show a profound gap between the aggregate valuations of happiness and the aggregate valuations of economic welfare. The results show that, at least in Argentina, the economy does not appear to be decisive for explaining happiness; however, there are situations where the economy plays an important role in explaining life satisfaction.
