| Popis: | An investigation of figural after-effects as affected by hue is described. The brightnesses of an orange, a blue, and a gray were equated by psychophysically determined heterochromatic brightness matches. The use of a standard source of illumination facilitated calculation of tristimulus values and Munsell notation of the stimuli. Although there were no significant differences in after-effects between the chromatic stimuli, each of the chromatic stimuli produced greater displacements than the achromatic stimulus. |
