Popis: | The results of the investigation of the information criterion of quality in terms of image formation and processing in the noncontact monitoring of object systems are presented taking into account the statistical properties of the signals representing the images. An example of the application of the information criterion to interferometric systems is examined, and the information criterion and traditional criteria—signal-to-noise ratio and interference fringe phase error—are compared. The information criterion of quality has a versatile character when applied to various problems of the noncontact monitoring of objects. |
