Popis: We report two cases of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the breast. Case 1: A 46-year-old woman had a lump measured 1.0×1.0 cm in the right breast. Excisional biopsy was performed. Most of tumor cells consisted of SCC cells and in part ductal carcinoma cells were mixed, and therefore it was finally diagnosed as primary SCC of the breast. Case 2: A 48-year-old woman had a 1.9×1.5 cm lump in the right breast. Aspiration biopsy cytology revealed Class 5 (SCC). The tumor was excised. Histological examinations revealed pure type of SCC. She had a history of tongue carcinoma and lymph node metastasis, so this was diagnosed as metastatic SCC of the breast. It is easy to diagnose the breast tumor comprising of SCC mixed with ductal carcinoma components as prinary breast cancer. But pure type of SCC often presents difficulty indetermination whether it is primary or metastatic. It must be stressed on that there are two types of SCC, primary or metastatic, when pure type of SCC are obscured.
