Popis: | A 50 MHz beam pulser has been constructed for use with a Van de Graaf accelerator. An accurate analysis of the system based on measured properties of the undeflected beam shows that the rms (root-mean-square) pulse width is 14.5 ps. Measured time spectra, which include the effects of both pulser and detector resolution, have an rms width of 36 ps. |
