Popis: We have obtained the dependence for the calculation of the required force under the local plastic deformation of a splicing sleeve of an electric wire. This formula can be used in design calculations to make a crimping tool with regulated crimping force. Due to it one can produce strong integral electrical contacts with guaranteed operating period. The force that is necessary for plastic deformation will increase if the thickness and diameter of a piece part go up and it will decrease if the length of a piece part goes down. Every press will increase the required force since there are changes in the piece part secant modulus, which characterizes the material hardening in the process of plastic deformation.
