Popis: | Here, surface immobilization of DNA conjugates via SPAAC for cancer theranostic applications was reported. The formation of DNA conjugates was supported by absorption and emission studies. The luminescent DNA conjugates exhibited high potency and high selectivity towards cancerous HeLa and MCF7 cells over normal kidney cells. Bright red fluorescence from these types of surface modified polystyrene beads in the HeLa cells makes these conjugates suitable for deep tissue imaging. These conjugates also showed remarkable binding efficiency with CT-DNA and protein BSA, which can demonstrate the mode of action in cancer cells. |
