Popis: | Advancements and Ascendancy in the use of Poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) polymer has uncloaked the broad applications in nanotechnological field. There is a requirement to converge these advances in terms of review article for better comprehension and easy approach with a special focus on optical and thermal property related issues. This review article provides accurate and deep understandings into the capabilities offered by the PMMA polymer when coupled with the different nanoparticles. Incorporation of different nanoparticles into host Poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) can enhances the optical and thermal properties. These properties of the nanocomposites can be regulate by controlling the different parameters such as sample preparation techniques, type of solvent used, nanoparticles loading concentration, and nanocomposite film thickness. This review article also reveals optical and thermal properties of different nanocomposite films of PMMA/CuO, PMMA/ZnO, PMMA/TiO2 and PMMA/SiO2. |
