Popis: | Biological tubes are integral components of many organs. Based on their cellular organization, tubes can be divided into three types: multicellular, unicellular, and intracellular. The mechanisms by which these tubes form during development vary significantly, in many cases even for those sharing a similar final architecture. Here, we present recent advances in studying cellular and molecular aspects of tubulogenesis in different organisms. |
