Popis: | The complete solution of the propagation of Rayleigh waves in a thin transversely isotropic layer with rigid bottom surface has been developed along with its frequency equation. The ratio of the possible vibrations at the free surface in the horizontal and vertical directions has been worked out and the proposed analysis has been applied to the case of Beryl and Ice Sheets which show definite behaviour of transverse isotropy. |
