Popis: | The glow curve structure and kinetics parameters of CaF 2 :Tm (TLD-300) were investigated at a test dose of 90 Sr β rays. A new peak at 68°C, called la, was recognised in the complex structure of the initial part of the glow curve. By applying a thermal bleaching method using a heating rate of 2°C.s -1 , seven glow peaks (la to 6) were separated at a temperature range of 33 to 314°C. The kinetic parameters including order of kinetics (b), activation energy (E), and frequency factor (s) were determined, based on the general order (GO) model. The methods include Chen's peak shape (PS) as applied to all glow peaks, isothermal decay (ID) to peaks 3 and 5, and variable heating rate (VHR) to peaks 1, 3, 5 and 6. The order of kinetics (b) determined is more than one for all the peaks except for peak 3, which was found to be 1 by the ID method. The results are compared to those of others. |
