Popis:	The in vitro proliferation of tumor cell lines derived from patients with recurrent mammary carcinoma revealed individuality of the response to steroid hormones and prolactin. The growth response patterns were largely concurring with the endocrine situation of the patients or with the result of endocrine therapy prior to the cell sampling. Cells derived from ovarian carcinomas of higher histological differentiation reacted to gonadotropic hormone concentrations equivalent to physiological serum levels.
