Popis: Here is reported evidence from viscosity data for competitive, reversible complex formation between species of Sn(IV) or Sn(II) and Sn(IV) or methanol in methanol – carbon tetrachloride solutions of SnCl4.5H2O and SnCl2.2H2O. Empirical relations between the viscosity parameter and the salt or methanol concentrations are also reported.
