The tritium yields per fission for $^{236}\mathrm{U}$ are reported for the reaction $^{235}\mathrm{U}+n$ from thermal energies to 700 keV. In addition, the corresponding $\ensuremath{\alpha}$-particle yields and energy spectra are reported above neutron energies of 170 keV. An increase of a factor of 2.3 to 2.4 in the tritium yield over its thermal value of 0.85 \ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{} 0.09\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{} ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$ tritons per fission is observed. No similar change is observed for the $\ensuremath{\alpha}$-particle yields. |
