Chihuahua, occupying the number one place in the production of this product nationwide (SAGARPA, 2018). Walnut is attacked by different microorganisms that cause serious problems that reduce their performance. It is important to know some edaphic characteristics that favoror condition the presence of the nematode in walnut orchards, so that based on this information walnut producers can pay more attention to the control of the nematode. The objective of the present case study was to determine which are the edaphic factors that influence the presence of the nematode Meloidogyne spin pecan walnut. The study was carried out in the municipalities of Delicias, Meoqui, Saucillo and Rosales in the state of Chihuahua Figure 1. 243 soil samples were taken from 60 nogaleras from September 2016 to January 2018. The results indicate that the nematode Meloidogynesp., is not exclusive to some type of texture and can be present in different textural classes of soil. A significant relationship was found between the high concentration of Phosphorous-Olsen and a greater number of trees with the presence of Meloidogynesp. Females. parasitizing the root of the walnut. A significant relationship was found between the concentration of the very low value of Zinc and the presence of Meloidogynesp. Females. parasitizing the root of the walnut. |
