Popis: This text reflects on the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) and continuing education of teachers. It presents a research focusing mainly on discourse analysis studies. The term of the Supplementary Education in Brazil, establishes dialogue with a speech that "asks passage" to the traditions and inserts specific expressions of adult education, as evidenced by the formation process. The effect of this process, from the principles of their own history, EJA becomes the place where teachers are recognized.
