Popis: Leonel then handed the newspaper to his wife. "The Royal Armed Forces have suffered 30 casualties. Reinforcements came too late. Zabaza gained a total victory by the most atrocious methods, far more atrocious than in their previous attacks. Every single villager, without exception, was slaughtered. The King will be inquiring why Zabaza has suddenly increased the level of its savagery." Leonel's wife looked at the newspaper attentively. Actually, she had already read it, but now hearing her husband's "introduction," she felt she was reading something quite new. She stared at the pictures so carefully presented by the press. Something uncanny arose from the effort to show what had happened in pictures. Two things were obvious right away. First, the inability of the monarchy to protect its people. Or, a well-designed plan to lure Zabaza to its doom.2
