Popis: In this paper, Fe-Cr-Si multiphase alloy with both ductile and brittle phases was prepared by vacuum arc furnace with high purity powder mixture of Fe, Cr and Si as raw materials. The microstructure and properties of the alloy were studied by OM, SEM, and XRD. The experimental results show that Fe-Cr-Si alloy can be made into two-phase alloy, which mainly consists of ductile phase and Fe22Cr7Si10 brittle phase. It is found that the matrix has a higher iron content, lower hardness and higher chromium content in brittle phase. The silicon element is evenly distributed in the sample. The corrosion resistance of the alloy is very strong compared with 06cr19ni10 steel.
