Popis: | The establishement of the principles that link the photochromic properties of indolinospirochromenes with the peculiarities of their structures may make it possible to purposefully select structures with practically valuable properties in this promising class of photochromic compounds. Because of the closeness of the substituent to the phenoxide reaction center, one might have expected a substantial change in the spectral-kinetic parameters of the photochromic transitions of such compounds when branched alkyl substituents are introduced in the 8' position of the spirochromene molecule. |
