Deuteron-carbon scattering in the Coulomb interference region at 1.69 GeV/c

Popis: Experimental data on d- 12 C small angle scattering are analysed in the high-energy Glauber approximation taking Coulomb effects into account and using both two-particle data as well as d-p data as input. The ratios of the real to imaginary parts of the pp and pn forward elastic scattering amplitudes used in the analysis are those obtained from dispersion relation predictions. Use of d-p data as input leads to better fits to the present measurements.
