Popis:	SummaryThe radiological study of the portal system after injection of the spleen combined to the measure of the pressure in the spleen is an armless procedure. It allows to recognize extrahepatic from intrahepatic hypertension. It makes possible the diagnosis of a thrombosis of the portal vein. It helps to localise tumors of the liver and to determine their operability.It is indicated in digestive bleedings in cases with an enlarged spleen and in ascitis of unknown origin.
