The topic of the final qualifying work: "Diesel engine for an 800 kW diesel generator".This work is devoted to the development of an 800 kW diesel internal combustion engine. In the course of the work, the following were calculated: the working process of the engine, the forces and moments arising in the engine, the balance analysis was performed and the strength calculations of the crankshaft, connecting rod and piston pin were performed. Based on the calculations, the longitudinal and transverse sections of the engine were developed.Tasks solved during the research:1. Overview of trends in the development of modern internal combustion engines and the choice of a prototype for the designed engine.2. Calculation of the working process of the engine, construction of indicator diagrams.3. Calculation of loads on the main and connecting rod necks, as well as their bearings, construction of Tolle diagrams, Brix diagrams, expanded and vector pressure diagrams on the main and connecting rod crankshaft necks, main and connecting rod bearings, as well as analysis of engine balance.4. Strength calculation of the crankshaft, connecting rod and piston pin.5. Development of schemes and calculation of engine systems.6. Calculation of the turbocharger.As a result of the work done, an 800 kW diesel engine was designed, drawings and diagrams of systems were developed. |
