Popis: | An approach to the analysis of the limit state and the fatigue life of simplest structural members subject to a combination of inphase cyclic tension/compression and cyclic torsion or a combination of cyclic bending and cyclic torsion is proposed. The solution is constructed using a limit-state model that relates the fatigue strengths in terms of a power transcendental function. The calculated results are validated experimentally for solid prismatic rods and thin-walled tubes subject to fatigue failure |
