Popis: | Based on the stationary one-dimensional model, the combustion process for a methane–air mixture in a slot matrix is simulated from the metal plates. The region of stable combustion is found and the possibility of such combustion in a wide range of the change in the flow rate of the gas mixture is explained. It is found that an increased length of the plates leads to an expansion of the stable combustion limits, both in power density and in the stoichiometric coefficient. The possibility of reaching a high burning power density of about 300 W/cm2 in the matrix from plane-parallel plates is shown. The fraction of power carried away by the radiational flux can reach 0.45 at the lower combustion limit. |
