Delayed gastric emptying (DGE) after pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD): does surgical technique involving the stomach matter?

Popis: RESULTS: Patient median age was 58 years and 43% were female. Successful first-line treatment was delivered to 65% of patients: Group A 24%, Group B1 84%, and Group C1 60%. Group A failures were treated either with percutaneous drainage (n1⁄418) or surgical intervention (n1⁄414). Group B1 failures were treated with surgical intervention (n1⁄4 10). On average, each patient required utilization of 1.37 treatment modalities.
