Phase diagram of the ternary Cu(NO3)2–Zn(NO3)2–H2O system

Popis: The solid–liquid equilibria of the ternary system H2O–Cu(NO3)2–Zn(NO3)2 were studied by using a synthetic method based on conductivity measurements. At 10 °C, three solid phases are observed: Zn(NO3)2·6H2O, Cu(NO3)2·6H2O and Cu(NO3)2·3H2O. All solid phases that appear are stoichiometriques and they form neither solid solution nor double salts in the domain of temperature and studied composition.
