Popis: | This work shows the design and structural analysis of a tensile testing machine for paper used as a substrate for the manufacture of piezoresistive sensors similar to strain gauges. This article also discusses the manufacturing process and the performance analysis of a low cost machine to characterize electromechanical structures made of graphite on polymeric substrate. Graphite in thin paper films have been investigated for a wide range of applications due to their excellent electrical and mechanical properties. Graphite sensors on flexible polymer substrates can be applied to portable wearable devices, as well as sensors for the Internet of things, bioengineering and applications in various areas of science and technology. |
